Greens Councillors will not be attending citizenship ceremonies on Australia Day, choosing instead to attend an Aboriginal reconciliation event.
Northern Beaches Councillors Miranda Korzy and Kristyn Glanville have indicated they will not be participating in citizenship ceremonies on Australia Day, with Cr Korzy informing other Councillors in a written statement that celebrating the date was offensive to Aboriginal people.
