IN another time, in years to come in the future, this story and the issues it covers may not even rate a mention.
As a journalist when I write a story, I write it from the angle of 'why should the average person care about this issue?' or 'how does the subject of this story impact other people?'.
So, why should you care that councillors Kristyn Glanville, 32, and Georgia Ryburn, 29, are allowed to bring their babies into Northern Beaches Council chambers for meetings? What does it really matter that they can also dial into those same meetings via video rather than having to be in the room?
These things are firsts in the northern beaches. These small steps are actually a giant leap for all women.
