She a planning and environment lawyer and long time Northern Beaches resident, with experience advising on development approvals, waste, biodiversity, heritage, renewable energy, and other major projects. Councillor Miranda Korzy is a sitting Councillor for Pittwater Ward. She is a journalist, activist and mother who has lived in Pittwater for more than 15 years. As a journalist with the Australian Associated Press, she has covered everything from police to politics. While raising her children on the Northern Beaches, she supported and led a range of community groups, including helping to found the Protect Pittwater Association, which is fighting to recover Pittwater Council, and helped kick off the latest campaign to Save Mona Vale Hospital. She also supports a range of local residents’ and environmental groups, including helping establish Canopy Keepers to preserve our urban trees.
